Bella is a Canadian womenswear designer based in London, with Jamaican and Italian heritage.
Her journey into fashion was born from a need for self-expression. As a biracial woman, Bella often struggled with identity and belonging, fashion became an outlet for embracing her uniqueness. Drawn to vintage and second-hand clothing, she found beauty in owning pieces that felt personal and one-of-a-kind. This passion naturally evolved into upcycling, allowing her to create bespoke, one-of-one garments.
At the age of 17, Bella moved to London to pursue her dream. She studied Fashion Design at Ravensbourne University, graduating in 2023 and debuting her graduate collection at London Fashion Week. Since then, she has focused on couture ropework and lingerie, crafted from deadstock, upcycled, or natural materials.
Her work has been worn by London-based artists such as BINA, Manuka Honey and featured in Gunna's music video 'WGFT'. She has shown at numerous fashion shows and exhibitions, including showcases with Guap at the V&A Museum, Metal, Noctis and Clash magazine and with organizations such as 'Girls on the Go'. Bella is currently part of The King’s Trust Enterprise Programme, continuing to grow her brand with purpose and passion.
Through her work, Bella is committed to pushing boundaries and challenging norms, creating clothing that not only makes people feel confident but also drives meaningful change in the fashion industry.
